Part one: Nguyên Lê "Celebrating Jimi Hendrix"

N'Guyen LeHailing from Viet-nam, this hugely talented guitarist is simply dripping with artistic curiosity allowing him to soak up a vast range of styles from Masters past and present. Didier Lockwood, Randy Brecker, Quincy Jones, the singer Dee Dee Bridgewater and many others from Europe and beyond have called upon his talents. But it is his freakish relationship with the music from the late, great Jimi Hendrix that is really something else. Not to be confused with the pale imitations occasionally heard by certain so-called guitar heroes, his thorough knowledge and understanding of Hendrix and the total affinity with his idol’s music means that he not only plays like Hendrix but even approaches composition writing the same way. Part two: Zucchero Fly World Tour

zuccheroZucchero (real name, Adelno Fornaciari) was born in Italy in 1955. His first album was released in 1983 but it’s in 1987 with his album Blue’S that he makes the big time in his own country selling more than a million copies of the record. Today, his low, gravely voice à la Joe Cocker is internationally known and his fan clubs have mushroomed around the World. He sings in English and Italian and his music is heavily inspired by gospel, alternating ballads and more vigorous boogie style numbers. Blues and rhythm and soul also come into his repertoire. Many big names have collaborated with him (Elvis Costello, Ennio Morricone) or have worked on his records (Miles Davis, Eric Clapton, Peter Gabriel) whilst yet others have done duos with him (Paul Young, Sting, Pavarotti, Johnnny Lee Hooker, Johnny Hallyday and even Gerard Depardieu.
He now has some thirty albums under his belt, most of which have enjoyed significant global success. However, it is on stage that Zucchero comes into his own, communicating all his energy, passion and genuine joy in entertaining the crowd.
