Part one: Tuck and Patti
Tuck Andress and Patti Cathcart made a name for themselves in the 80s by interpreting jazz and pop classics in their own style. Then followed original works which also met with success and where the lyrics and music are largely from Patti. Tuck, for his part, is the guitar virtuoso of the outfit, transforming his instrument into a veritable orchestra. The musical and emotional union of these two artists provides for rare musical intimacy where voice and music are but one. These two will have all age groups from 7 to 77 totally spellbound.

Part two: Jeff Beck
If music is largely about inspiration then Jeff Beck got more than his fair share when it was being handed out. This guitarist who is well into the fourth decade of his career is a living legend and the man with the ‘bewitching strat’ was part of the rock guitar triumvirate with his contemporaries Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton. Creative power and musical instinct have always been Beck’s trump cards and his records such as Truth, Blow by Blow or Wired have influenced generations of future guitarists. He is the source of many guitar effects which are now common currency and just when his imitators think they’ve caught up with him, his limitless inspiration means they are continuously running after the ball. His unique touch and mastery of the vibrato make him the envy of his peers. In 2007, the old magic is still there, complete with alternating, hypnotic rhythms, flowing fretboard work, hard hitting riffs and flamboyant harmonies. From the aggressive So What to the tender JB’s Blues, he’s always exploring new paths. British critic and specialist Joseph Kolmansky wrote that Jeff Beck’s performance in Patrimonio in 2001 reached such a level of perfection that it could only be explained by the special charm the concert site was having on the band. It’s what’s sometimes been called the magic of Patrimonio. So now you’ve been warned. Be ready once more for something out of the ordinary.
